KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • ROAD, SWEET ROAD: The Monsters take an active three-game road winning streak, tied for the AHL’s third-longest such active streak, and a five-game point streak (3-0-1-1) into their longest road trip of the season, a 12-day, seven-game trek through the Central Division that begins on Wednesday in Rockford.
  • ROCKFORD REINFORCEMENTS: With the IceHogs’ NHL affiliate, the Chicago Blackhawks, are enjoying their league-mandated bye week, the IceHogs will be bolstered on Wednesday by the services of a trio of full-time Hawks, including C Tanner Kero, RW Nick Schmaltz and C Vinnie HInostroza.
  • FRESH FACES: With injuries currently plaguing Cleveland’s roster, Wednesday will likely see the Cleveland debut of a trio of freshly-inked PTO players, including RW Akim Aliu, RW Kyle Thomas and RW Alex Petan.
