In the first of six meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Toronto Marlies, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs, on Sunday with full coverage, live from Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, ON, underway at 4:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 AM “The Gambler”, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-1 road win over the Belleville Senators on Saturday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 3-1-0-0 on the season. With a .750 points percentage, the Monsters currently rank third in the North Division standings and fourth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by LW Tyler Angle (0-6-6), D Jake Christiansen (2-3-5), and C Tyler Sikura (2-2-4).

 

MARLIES PRE-SCOUT: Following a 3-7 home loss to the Rochester Americans on Saturday, the Toronto Marlies enter tonight’s game at 1-2-0-0 on the season. With a .333 points percentage, the Marlies currently rank sixth in the North Division standings and 13th in the Eastern Conference. Toronto is currently led in scoring by C Brett Seney (4-0-4), C Kirill Semyonov (1-3-4), and RW Josh Ho-Sang (2-0-2).

 

REGULAR-SEASON SERIES: Sunday marks the first of six meetings between the Monsters and Marlies this season and the first of three games between the two clubs at Coca-Cola Coliseum this year.
