KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • AWESOME ANGLE: Cleveland’s leading scorer, LW Tyler Angle, currently ranks tied for the AHL-lead in assists (5), ranks tied for second league-wide in points (0-5-5), and is currently riding a three-game assists streak (5), tied for the AHL’s longest-such active streak and tied for the longest streak of its kind league-wide this year.
  • MAKING HISTORY: If he appears in Cleveland’s road game vs. Belleville on Saturday, Monsters C Justin Scott will draw even with former Cleveland D Cameron Gaunce for the Monsters’ all-time franchise record for games played (264). An appearance for Cleveland on Sunday in Toronto would establish Scott as the new “Mr. Monster,” the player who’s appeared in more games in a Monsters uniform than any other in the club’s 14-plus seasons in the AHL.
  • HELPING HAND: Cleveland D Gavin Bayreuther is currently riding a two-game assists streak (3) and ranks in or near the AHL’s top-five among defensemen in assists (3, T4th) and points (3, T6th) so far this season. Bayreuther’s +5 rating also ranks in the league’s top-five both overall (T5th) and among blue-liners (2nd) thus far.
