Monsters Complete the Road Trip in Toronto

In the sixth of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Toronto Marlies, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs, on Wednesday with full coverage, live from Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, ON, underway at 11:00 am on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 3-2 road overtime win over the Rochester Americans on Saturday, the Cleveland Monsters enter today’s game at 24-26-3-2 on the season. With 53 points, the Monsters currently rank eighth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 15th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by D Adam Clendening (6-30-36), C Stefan Matteau (12-16-28) and C Ryan MacInnis (6-21-27).

 

MARLIES PRE-SCOUT: Following a 1-2 road loss to the Laval Rocket on Saturday, the Toronto Marlies enter today’s game at 26-22-3-2 on the season. With 57 points, the Marlies currently rank seventh in the AHL’s North Division standings and 13th in the Eastern Conference. Toronto is currently led in scoring by LW Kenny Agostino (23-17-40), RW Pontus Aberg (17-23-40) and RW Jeremy Bracco (4-30-34).

 

REGULAR-SEASON SERIES: Wednesday marks the sixth of eight meetings between the Monsters and Marlies this season and the fourth of four games between the two clubs at Coca-Cola Coliseum this year.
