In the second of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Binghamton Devils, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, on Wednesday with full coverage, live from Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, NY, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 0-2 road loss to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Sunday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 17-18-1-2 on the season. With 37 points, the Monsters currently rank seventh in the AHL’s North Division standings and 13th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by D Adam Clendening (6-23-29), LW Nathan Gerbe (8-17-25) and C Stefan Matteau (9-11-20).

 

DEVILS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 6-5 home shootout win over the Syracuse Crunch on Sunday, the Binghamton Devils enter tonight’s game at 16-17-4-0 on the season. With 36 points, the Devils currently rank eighth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Binghamton is currently led in scoring by C Ben Street (13-20-33), C Brett Seney (13-15-28) and RW Joey Anderson (9-19-28).

 

REGULAR-SEASON SERIES: Wednesday marks the second of four meetings between the Monsters and Devils this season and the second of two tilts between the two clubs at Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena this year. So far this season, the Monsters are 0-1-0-0 vs. the Devils both overall and on the road with a -3 goal differential (2/5) in both scenarios.
