KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • REINFORCEMENTS: Cleveland will be buoyed on Sunday by the arrival of C Ryan MacInnis, assigned to the Monsters by the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, and the signing to a pro tryout (PTO) contract by the Monsters of RW Abbott Girduckis of the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye.
  • DEVILS DESTROYER: Monsters C Sam Vigneault is scoring at a point per game pace vs. Binghamton this season (3 GP, 2-1-3), as is Cleveland LW Calvin Thurkauf (3 GP, 1-2-3) and Monsters D Adam Clendening (3 GP, 0-3-3).
  • NEUTRALIZE NATE: The Monsters will look to limit Devils forward Nathan Bastien on Sunday as he’s got four points to his credit (2G, 2A) in three appearances vs. Cleveland this season.
