KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • STAY OUT OF THE BOX: Cleveland would do well to avoid taking penalties on Sunday as Toronto currently maintains the AHL’s top overall power play (29.4%) and the league’s top home power play (38.5%).
  • CUT OFF KORSHKOV: The Marlies’ top scorer is LW Egor Korshkov who’s begun his campaign on a five-game goal scoring streak, the longest streak of its kind in the AHL so far this season. The Monsters will need to find a way to neutralize the rugged Russian-born forward if they are to claim victory on Sunday.
  • FIND THE FINISH LINE: After an exhausting weekend of three games in less than 36 hours, the Monsters need to simplify their game on Sunday in order to maximize their remaining stamina and skate towards the light at the end of the team’s first “three-in-three” of the season.
