Chris Clark

Originally selected by the Calgary Flames in the third round (77th overall) of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, South Windsor, CT native Chris Clark is entering his sixth season as a Columbus Blue Jackets Development Coach. A veteran of 607 NHL games spanning parts of 11 seasons from 1999-2011 with the Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals and Columbus, Clark, 41, served as Washington’s captain four times from 1999-2011, helped Calgary earn a berth in the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals vs. the eventual champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning, won the AHL’s Calder Cup with the Saint John Flames in 2001 and competed collegiately at Clarkson University from 1994-98 where he served as captain during his senior season.

A native of South Windsor, CT, Clark also represented Team USA at the 2002 and 2007 IIHF World Championships, captaining the American team in 2007, and logged time in the top Swiss and Norwegian professional leagues during the 2004-05 NHL lockout.
