KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • TAKE THE CROWD OUT OF IT: The Monsters would do well to jump on the Griffins early on Wednesday, as Grand Rapids boasts a 10-2-1-2 home record and is currently in the midst of an eight-game home points streak, the league’s second-longest streak of its kind this season.
  • CRUSH CHRIS: Cleveland will need to neutralize the Griffins’ top scorer, LW Chris Terry, on Wednesday as Terry currently leads the AHL in goals (18) and ranks in the league’s top-five in points (25, T5th).
  • GERBE THE GREAT: Cleveland’s captain, LW Nathan Gerbe, is scoring at a better than point-per-game pace vs. Grand Rapids this season (1 GP, 0-2-2) and has four points (3G, 1A) in his past four appearances for the Monsters.
