KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • POINT PER GAME PERFORMERS: Cleveland’s roster currently features five players scoring at a point-per-game pace or better in at least their past three games: C Zac Dalpe (6-3-9 in last four games played), LW Nathan Gerbe (three-game points streak [1-4-5]), C Mark Letestu (3-2-5 in last five appearances), LW Paul Bittner (1-3-4 in last four appearances) and C Alex Broadhurst (1-2-3 in last three games played).
  • LEADING THE CHARGE: Monsters leading scorer Zac Dalpe currently ranks tied for the AHL-lead with 19 points and ranks tied for the league-lead with 12 goals to his credit as well so far this year. Following a nine-point performance (6-3-9) in Cleveland’s past four games, Dalpe was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week on Tuesday. Dalpe’s four power-play goals and two game-winning markers also currently rank tied for fifth-most in the AHL this season.
  • TOP HEAVY: The Monsters’ top line, comprised of C Zac Dalpe, LW Eric Robinson and RW Paul Bittner is off to a torrid pace to start the 2018-19 season. Not only are Dalpe (12-7-19), Robinson (5-6-11) and Bittner (2-8-10) the top three scorers on Cleveland’s roster so far this season, their combined production of 19-21-40 accounts for 45% of the Monsters’ goals this season and nearly 38% of the team’s total points.
