KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • SUPER BROADHURST BROS.: Monsters forwards and siblings Terry and Alex Broadhurst have provided remarkably consistent offense as of late. Terry has 19 points (7G, 12A) in his past 18 games and has five points to his credit (2G, 3A) in five appearances vs. the IceHogs this season. Meanwhile, Alex leads all Monsters skaters in scoring in the season series vs. Rockford (6 GP, 3-5-8) and has six points (5G, 1A) in his past six games.
  • MONSTER MASHERS: The Rockford roster currently features three players scoring at a point per game or better pace vs. Cleveland this season including LW Matthew Highmore (6 GP, 3-3-6), C Tanner Kero (4 GP, 0-4-4), and LW John Hayden (2 GP, 1-2-3).
  • PLAY WITH CONFIDENCE: Cleveland has played well at BMO Harris Bank Center this season, earning three of four possible standings points on Rockford’s home ice so far in 2017-18. That fact, combined with the momentum the Monsters earned in Sunday’s 3-2 overtime home win over the Western Conference’s top team (the Manitoba Moose), and Rockford’s recent slide all the way down to sixth place in the AHL standings, should fuel Cleveland’s confidence on Tuesday.
