Monsters Clash with the Wolves at Home

In the third of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Chicago Wolves, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, on Saturday with full coverage, live from The Q, underway at 7:00 pm on SportsTime Ohio, Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 1-5 home loss to the Chicago Wolves on Thursday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 20-17-4-1 on the season. With 45 points, the Monsters currently rank fifth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 11th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (15-14-29), LW Nathan Gerbe (9-20-29) and C Alex Broadhurst (7-19-26).

WOLVES PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 5- road win over the Cleveland Monsters on Thursday, the Chicago Wolves enter tonight’s game at 24-14-4-1 on the season. With 53 points, the Wolves currently rank third in the AHL’s Central Division standings and fourth in the Western Conference. Chicago is led in scoring by LW Daniel Carr (21-32-53), RW Brooks Macek (19-23-42) and C T.J. Tynan (8-30-38).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the third of four clashes between the Monsters and Wolves this season and the second of two games between the two teams at The Q this year.
