Monsters To Conclude Road Trip In Milwaukee

MATCHUP To conclude a three-game road trip, the Lake Erie Monsters (19-16-4-3) will visit the Milwaukee Admirals (25-13-2-3) Tuesday at 8:00 p.m.  The Monsters have points in their last five games, and are 5-1-2-0 over their last eight games.  Milwaukee has been one of the hottest teams in the AHL, coming off a 4-0 win in Grand Rapids on Saturday and carrying a record of 10-1-0-0 over their last 11 contests.  The Monsters won in their last outing by a 2-1 score in overtime Saturday in Oklahoma City against the league-leading Barons, and they took three of a possible four points in their two-game set in Oklahoma City.

LAST TIME OUT Calvin Pickard posted the most saves in a game for a Monsters goalie all season with 43, and the Monsters topped Oklahoma City 2-1 in overtime on the road Saturday.  Ben Street sealed the win with a penalty shot goal with no time remaining in overtime.  Andrew Agozzino scored for the fifth straight game for the Monsters.

WHO TO WATCH: MONSTERS Agozzino has goals in five straight games, and is now one game away from tying the Monsters record for most consecutive games with a goal.  Brian Willsie had a six-game goal scoring streak in the 2008-09 season.  Agozzino is also nine points behind all-time leader T.J. Hensick on the Monsters all-time points chart.  Agozzino needs nine goals to tie David van der Gulik atop the Monsters all-time goals chart.  Agozzino currently has 49 goals as a Monster.

WHO TO WATCH: ADMIRALS All-star rookie forward Brendan Leipsic leads the Admirals with 32 points, and has 10 assists over his last nine games played for the Admirals.
