Monsters' Continue Road Trip with Match Up in Rockford

In the fourth of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Rockford IceHogs, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks, on Saturday with full coverage, live from BMO Harris Bank Center in Rockford, IL, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 3-2 road win over the Chicago Wolves on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 30-26-6-1 on the season. With 67 points, the Monsters currently rank sixth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 11th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (22-18-40), C Mark Letestu (17-20-37) and LW Nathan Gerbe (10-22-32).

ICEHOGS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 3-2 road win over the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday, the Rockford IceHogs enter tonight’s game at 28-24-4-6 on the season. With 66 points, the IceHogs currently rank sixth in the AHL’s Central Division standings and tenth in the Western Conference. Rockford is led in scoring by C Peter Holland (23-32-55), LW Jordan Schroeder (17-23-40) and LW Anthony Louis (11-19-30).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the fourth of four meetings between the Monsters and IceHogs this season and the second of two clashes between the two clubs at BMO Harris Bank Center this year. So far this season, Cleveland shows a record of 3-0-0-0 vs. Rockford overall with a +7 goal differential (11/4) and the Monsters are 1-0-0-0 vs. the IceHogs on the road this season with a +1 goal differential (2/1).
