Monsters Continue Their Texas Road Trip In San Antonio

MATCHUP In the second game of their four-game Texas swing and five-game road trip, the Lake Erie Monsters (26-24-5-3) visit the San Antonio Rampage (34-19-5-1) tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. Eastern.  The Monsters are coming off a 6-4 road loss to the Texas Stars on Wednesday, while San Antonio has won three straight, has points in four straight (3-0-0-1), and is 6-1-1-1 over their last nine games.  The Monsters are 2-0-0-0 against San Antonio this season.  The Monsters and Rampage previously met in the Monsters last two games before the AHL all-star break in January.

LAST TIME OUT The Monsters fell behind 2-0 in the first period and trailed by as much as 5-2 halfway through the third period before mounting a furious comeback that fell just short on Wednesday, as the Monsters were upended on the road by the Texas Stars 6-4.  Ben Youds netted his first goal as a Monster, while Sam Henley, Ben Street, and Reid Petryk also scored.  The loss was the first for the Monsters in three games against the Stars this season, and it halted the Monsters two-game winning streak.

WHO TO WATCH: MONSTERS Andrew Agozzino and Ben Street have been teamed up on a line regularly as of late, and they each have three-game point streaks in progress.  Both Agozzino and Street have five points over their last three outings.

WHO TO WATCH: RAMPAGE Goalie Michael Houser, a Youngstown native, has started the last four games for San Antonio, going 3-0-1 in that span.  Houser is 6-0-1 in his last seven starts, and has not allowed more than two goals in any of his last seven outings in net.
