Monsters Go Head to Head with the Devils at Home

In the fourth of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Binghamton Devils, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, on Sunday with full coverage, live from The Q, underway at 3:00 pm on SportsTime Ohio, Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-3 home loss to the Binghamton Devils on Saturday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 22-21-4-1 on the season. With 49 points, the Monsters currently rank sixth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 13th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by LW Nathan Gerbe (10-22-32), C Zac Dalpe (15-14-29) and C Alex Broadhurst (8-21-29).

DEVILS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 3-2 road win over the Cleveland Monsters on Saturday, the Binghamton Devils enter tonight’s game at 22-24-5-0 on the season. With 49 points, the Devils currently rank sixth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Binghamton is led in scoring by LW Blake Pietila (16-14-30), C Michael McLeod (6-23-29) and C John Quenneville (13-13-26).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the fourth of four meetings between the Monsters and Devils this season and the second of two clashes between the two teams at The Q this year. So far this season, Cleveland is 1-2-0-0 vs. Binghamton both overall and on the road with a +2 goal differential (10/8).
