Monsters Go Head to Head with Wolves at Home

In the second of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Chicago Wolves, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, on Thursday with full coverage, live from The Q, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 6-5 home shootout win over the Toronto Marlies on Wednesday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 20-16-4-1 on the season. With 45 points, the Monsters currently rank fifth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 11th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (15-14-29), LW Nathan Gerbe (9-20-29) and C Mark Letestu (12-13-25).

WOLVES PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 0-4 home loss to the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday, the Chicago Wolves enter tonight’s game at 23-14-4-1 on the season. With 51 points, the Wolves currently rank third in the AHL’s Central Division standings and fourth in the Western Conference. Chicago is led in scoring by LW Daniel Carr (20-30-50), RW Brooks Macek (18-22-40) and C T.J. Tynan (8-30-38).

SEASON SERIES: Wednesday marks the second of four clashes between the Monsters and Wolves this season and the first of two games between the two teams at The Q this year. So far this season, Cleveland is 0-1-0-0 both overall and on the road vs. Chicago with a -4 goal differential (2/6).
