Monsters Look for Another Win in Milwaukee

MATCHUP After snapping Grand Rapids three-game win streak last night, the Lake Erie Monsters (2-3-0-0) will try to halt the Milwaukee Admirals season-opening five-game win streak tonight at the BMO Harris Bradley Center at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.  The Monsters topped Grand Rapids 5-4 on the road last night, and Milwaukee won 3-2 in overtime on the road against Chicago last night.  Tonight's game marks the middle game of three games in three nights on the road for the Monsters, who are 2-2-0-0 on the road this season.

LAST TIME OUT The Monsters won 5-4 in Grand Rapids last night, with Markus Lauridsen, Michael Schumacher, Kenny Ryan, Andrew Agozzino, and Dennis Everberg scoring goals.  Five different Monsters had multiple-point games, and Sami Aittokallio won his first start in net for the Monsters this season.  The Monsters improved to 2-1-0-0 against Grand Rapids this season with the win, and halted a three-game losing skid a night ago.

WHO TO WATCH: MONSTERS Dennis Everberg has goals in back-to-back games, and picked up the eventual game-winning goal last night in Grand Rapids.  Everberg started the season by playing five games for the Colorado Avalanche before being sent to the Monstes, where he has now skated in three contests.

WHO TO WATCH: ADMIRALS Pontus Aberg scored last night for Milwaukee, and has four goals and five points over his first five games in the American Hockey league.  The native of Sweden was chosen in the second round, 37th overall, by the Nashville Predators in 2012.
