Monsters Look For Back-To-Back Wins In S.A.

MATCHUP In search of a sweep of the four-game season series against San Antonio, the Lake Erie Monsters (27-24-5-3) visit the Rampage (34-20-5-1) tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern in the third game of their five-game road swing.  The Monsters are 1-1-0-0 on the trip so far, as they knocked off San Antonio a night ago by a 4-0 score.  The victory moved the Monsters to 3-0-0-0 on the season, and 12-11-4-1 away from Quicken Loans Arena this season.  San Antonio's three-game win streak and four-game point streak each came to a close in the loss to the Monsters last night.
LAST TIME OUT Ben Street scored for the Monsters to beat the buzzer late in the first period, and the Monsters never looked back en route to a 4-0 win in San Antonio last night.  Ben Youds scored a power play goal for the second straight game in the second period to give the Monsters a 2-0 lead, and Kenny Ryan and Trevor Cheek added third period goals.  Calvin Pickard registered a 31-save shutout, giving him shutouts in two straight starts for the Monsters.  Pickard has stopped the last 65 shots he has faced.
WHO TO WATCH: MONSTERS Street and Agozzino are riding four-game point streaks, and each has seven points over the last four games.  Street had a goal and an assist last night, while Agozzino notched two assists.
WHO TO WATCH: RAMPAGE Bobby Butler and the rest of the Rampage were held off the board last night by the Monsters, but San Antonio averages four goals per game in three games following shutouts this season.  Butler leads San Antonio with 24 goals and 52 points in 57 games.
