KEYS TO SUCCESS:

·         POWER OUTAGE: The Monsters currently rank dead last in the AHL in both overall (9.8%, 30th) and road (9.5%, 30th) power-play percentage and on Sunday are matched up against an Iowa team that ranks in the league’s top-three in both overall (89.6%, 2nd) and home (90.6%, 3rd) penalty kill percentage.

·         DON’T FALL BEHIND: Neither the Monsters (0-4-0-0), nor the Wild (0-5-0-0) have earned a point when trailing after two periods of play so far this season.

·         MARVELOUS MITCHELL: Following a four-point showing (2G, 2A) in Iowa’s 6-1 home win over the Monsters on Saturday, Wild RW Zack Mitchell, now the team’s leading scorer, is currently in the midst of a five-game assist streak (8A) and a five-game points streak (11 PTS).
