Monsters Look to Bounce Back in Hershey

In the second of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Hershey Bears, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Washington Capitals, on Saturday with full coverage, live from Giant Center in Hershey, PA, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 1-6 road loss to the Hershey Bears on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 8-7-1-0 on the season. With 17 points, the Monsters currently rank second in the AHL’s North Division standings and seventh in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (12-7-19), LW Eric Robinson (7-6-13) and LW Paul Bittner (2-9-11).

BEARS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 6-1 home win over the Cleveland Monsters on Friday, the Hershey Bears enter tonight’s game at 8-8-0-1 on the season. With 15 points, the Bears currently rank sixth in the AHL’s Atlantic Division standings and eighth in the Eastern Conference. Hershey is led in scoring by RW Riley Barber (6-7-13), C Mike Sgarbossa (7-4-11) and LW Liam O’Brien (7-3-10).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the second of four meetings between the two teams this season and the second of two matchups between the Monsters and Bears at Giant Center this year. Cleveland is 0-1-0-0 vs. Hershey both overall and at home this season with a -5 goal differential (1/6) in the season series thus far.
