Monsters Look for the Come Back Against Laval on the Road

In the fourth of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Laval Rocket, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens, on Saturday with full coverage, live from Place Bell in Laval, QC, underway at 3:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 0-1 road loss to the Laval Rocket on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 18-16-4-1 on the season. With 41 points, the Monsters currently rank seventh in the AHL’s North Division standings and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by LW Nathan Gerbe (9-20-29), C Zac Dalpe (15-13-28) and C Alex Broadhurst (7-17-24).

ROCKET PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 1-0 home win over the Cleveland Monsters on Friday, the Laval Rocket enter tonight’s game at 18-17-3-3 on the season. With 42 points, the Rocket currently rank fifth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 12th in the Eastern Conference. Laval is led in scoring by C Alex Belzile (9-22-31), C Byron Froese (12-14-26) and C Jake Evans (10-16-26).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the fourth of eight meetings between the Monsters and Rocket this season and the second of four tilts between the two teams at Place Bell this year.
