Monsters Look to Keep Momentum Going in Belleville

In the fifth of eight meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Belleville Senators, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, on Saturday with full coverage, live from CAA Arena in Belleville, ON, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-1 road shootout win over the Belleville Senators on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 24-21-5-1 on the season. With 54 points, the Monsters currently rank sixth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 12th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by LW Nathan Gerbe (10-22-32), C Zac Dalpe (15-14-29) and C Alex Broadhurst (8-21-29).

SENATORS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 1-2 home shootout loss to the Cleveland Monsters on Friday, the Belleville Senators enter tonight’s game at 25-23-2-4 on the season. With 56 points, the Senators currently rank fifth in the AHL’s North Division standings and tenth in the Eastern Conference.
