KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • POTENT PK: The Monsters currently rank in the AHL’s top-five in overall penalty kill percentage (85.1%, 4th) and take on a Charlotte overall power-play on Saturday that currently ranks dead last league-wide (11.3%, 30th).
  • MONSTER PERFORMERS: Three players on the Monsters’ roster are currently scoring at a better than point-per-game pace vs. the Checkers this season, including LW Sonny Milano (3 GP, 1-3-4), D John Ramage (3 GP, 1-3-4) and RW Oliver Bjorkstrand (2 GP, 2-1-3).
  • BUILD A LEAD: The Monsters would be well-served to build an advantage through two periods on Saturday, as Charlotte is 1-18-1-0 when trailing through 40 minutes of play in games this season.
