KEYS TO SUCCESS:
- GERBE THE GREAT: Monsters forward Nathan Gerbe is currently in the midst of a four-game assists streak (6A), tied for the AHL’s third-longest such active streak. Gerbe is coring at a better than point per game pace vs. the Wolves this year (1 GP, 0-2-2) and has eight points to his credit (0-8-8) in his past eight games played.
- DON’T FALL BEHIND: The Monsters would be best served on Sunday not to dig themselves a hole as the Wolves are 12-0-1-1 when leading through one period and 18-1-2-0 when leading through 40 minutes of play this season.
- TERRIFIC TRIO: The Monsters’ second forward line has been tremendous lately, as C Carter Camper has six points (1G, 5A) in five appearances vs. Chicago this year, LW Jordan Schroeder is scoring at a point per game pace in his past three appearances (1-2-3), and C Nathan Gerbe has points in four consecutive games.
