KEYS TO SUCCESS:

TAKE AWAY TYNAN: The Monsters will have to contend with their former leading scorer, Wolves C T.J. Tynan, a 2016 Calder Cup Champion with the Monsters, on Tuesday. So far this season, Tynan ranks in the AHL’s top-ten in points (54, T6th), assists (42, 3rd), shorthanded goals (4, T2nd), and shorthanded points (6, T2nd).

LIMIT HOLM: Cleveland will need to watch Wolves D Philip Holm closely on Tuesday as the former Vancouver Canucks prospect (acquired via trade from Vancouver by the Vegas Golden Knights for F Brendan Leipsic in late February), currently ranks in or near the AHL’s top-ten amongst defensemen in points (32, T11th), power-play goals (7, T3rd), and game-winning goals (4, T1st).

DRAW FIRST BLOOD: It’s critical that Cleveland score first on Tuesday as Chicago is an impressive (25-6-3-1) when tallying the first goal of games this season.
