Monsters Take on Binghamton Devils on the Road

In the second of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Binghamton Devils, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, on Saturday with full coverage, live from Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, NY, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 4-3 road shootout win over the Syracuse Crunch on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 18-14-4-1 on the season. With 41 points, the Monsters currently rank fifth in the AHL’s North Division standings and tenth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by LW Nathan Gerbe (9-20-29), C Zac Dalpe (15-13-28) and C Mark Letestu (10-13-23).

DEVILS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 2-1 road win over the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Friday, the Binghamton Devils enter tonight’s game at 18-20-3-0 on the season. With 39 points, the Devils currently rank sixth in the AHL’s North Division standings and 12th in the Eastern Conference. Binghamton is led in scoring by LW Brandon Gignac (7-16-23), RW Marian Studenic (9-12-21) and C Michael McLeod (5-16-21).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the second of four meetings between the Monsters and Devils this season and the second of two tilts between the two teams at Floyd L.
