Monsters Take on Marlies in Toronto for Game 2

In the first-ever series meeting between the two teams in the Calder Cup Playoffs, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Toronto Marlies, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs, on Friday in the second game of the two teams’ best-of-seven North Division Final series with full coverage, live from Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, underway at 7:00 pm on FOX Sports Ohio, Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network. After a 5-2 home win over the Monsters in Wednesday's Game 1, the MArlies lead the series one game to none.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-5 road loss to the Toronto Marlies in Wednesday’s first game of the best-of-seven North Division Final, the Cleveland Monsters trail the Marlies 0-1 in the series. Cleveland is led in playoff scoring by LW Sonny Milano (1-6-7), C Mark Letestu (3-2-5) and C Justin Scott (2-1-3).

MARLIES PRE-SCOUT: Following a 5-2 home win over the Cleveland Monsters in Wednesday’s first game of the best-of-seven North Division Final, the Toronto Marlies lead the Monsters 1-0 in the series. Toronto is led in playoff scoring by RW Jeremy Bracco (2-6-8), C Chris Mueller (4-3-7) and D Rasmus Sandin (0-6-6).

REGULAR-SEASON SERIES: While this North Division Final is the first postseason series between the Monsters and Marlies in the teams’ franchise histories, Cleveland went 5-1-2-0 vs. Toronto overall in the regular season with a +6 goal differential (36/30).
