Monsters' 'Three in Three' Ends with Pucks & Paws Game vs. Hershey

In the fourth of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Hershey Bears, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Washington Capitals, on Sunday with full coverage, live from The Q, underway at 3:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 5-2 home win over the Hershey Bears on Saturday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 32-26-7-1 on the season. With 72 points, the Monsters currently rank fifth in the AHL’s North Division standings and ninth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is led in scoring by C Zac Dalpe (25-19-44), C Mark Letestu (19-23-42) and LW Nathan Gerbe (10-22-32).

BEARS PRE-SCOUT: In the wake of a 2-5 road loss to the Cleveland Monsters on Saturday, the Hershey Bears enter tonight’s game at 36-23-3-4 on the season. With 79 points, the Bears currently rank third in the AHL’s Atlantic Division standings and sixth in the Eastern Conference. Hershey is led in scoring by RW Riley Barber (31-28-59), C Mike Sgarbossa (28-31-59) and D Aaron Ness (4-43-47).

SEASON SERIES: Saturday marks the fourth of four meetings between the Monsters and Bears this season and the second of two clashes between the two clubs at Quicken Loans Arena this year. So far this season, Cleveland shows a record of 2-1-0-0 vs. Hershey overall with a +1 goal differential (11/10) and the Monsters are 1-0-0-0 vs. the Bears at home with a +3 goal differential (5/2).
