KEYS TO SUCCESS:

  • MAJOR-LEAGUERS: On the same day Cleveland received veteran C Zac Dalpe on assignment from the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, the Jackets also assigned LW Sonny Milano, the Monsters’ leading scorer from a year ago, D Gabriel Carlsson, and G Joonas Korpisalo to Cleveland late Friday night.
  • DON’T BACK DOWN: After a decisive 5-2 home win over the Admirals on Thursday, Cleveland needs to continue to press on Saturday night and avoid any sense of complacency as, even after Saturday’s rematch against Milwaukee, the Monsters’ next opponent will still be the Admirals, on the road the following Wednesday at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena.
  • HOME COOKIN’: The Monsters will need to take full advantage of the team’s passionate home crowd on Saturday as Wednesday’s looming road clash vs. the Admirals represents Cleveland fifth road tilt in their past seven games. So far this season at The Q, the Monsters have amassed a 4-2-1-0 home record.
