Get to Know...Tom Zanoski

In this edition of "Get to Know", we cover Monsters right wing Tom Zanoski. Zanoski, who suited up for five different AHL squads and one ECHL team last year, made an impact with the little amount of time he saw in Cleveland last season. In just nine games played with the Monsters, he recorded two goals and three assists. Tom looks to build off  his past successes with Lake Erie in 2010-11.

How does it feel to play in front of great fans, and what can that mean to a game?: It's a big part of a hockey game. Loud fans put energy into the players, which helps us perform better.

Name a few songs you would recommend for warm-ups?: Put On - Young Jeezy ft. Kanye West; Ghosts and Stuff - Deadmau5; Let It Rock - Kevin Rudolf ft. Lil Wayne; Like a G6 - Far East Movement

What is your favorite way to relax on a non-game day?: Just rest up and watch movies.

Describe a pre-game ritual you like to go through to prepare for a game: I like to play "two-touch" to warm up for a bit, and I also like to listen to music (dance, rock, hip-hop, pretty much everything).

Who was your favorite hockey team and player while growing up?: I liked the Toronto Maple Leafs growing up, but my favorite player was Pavel Bure.
