Monsters Announce Two "Try Hockey for Free" Dates
Kids can participate in hockey on Dec.15th and Feb. 10th at The Q
The Cleveland Monsters announced Monday the team will host two ‘Try Hockey for Free’ Days at The Q on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 2:30 – 4:00 pm and Sunday, Feb. 10 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm, as the organization continues to ‘Grow the Game’ by introducing the sport of hockey to local Northeast Ohio kids.
Children from ages four to eight will have the opportunity to try hockey on the ice for the first time at no cost. All equipment will be provided, though it’s recommended kids bring their own skates if possible. A 30-minute equipment introduction will be provided to participants and parents on each date prior to a one-hour, on-ice session.
Instruction will be led by Cleveland Monsters hockey staff members including NHL Stanley Cup Champion and Monsters Sr. Director of Hockey Affairs/Team Services, Jock Callander, and former Monsters Player and Ohio Hockey Project owner, Russ Sinkewich.
This event is available on a first come, first serve basis and participants are encouraged to register early! For more information visit ClevelandMonsters.com/TryHockey.
