The AHL's defending Calder Cup Champions, the Cleveland Monsters will begin their 2016-17 season with a Championship Celebration on October 14 and October 15. We can't wait for Monsters fans to join us at Quicken Loans Arena. Here is the rundown on the weekend's activities and festivities plus answers to frequently asked questions.

TRANSPORTATION/ARRIVAL

As we near this weekend’s historic Monsters Opening Weekend Championship Celebration, we are also excited to support our neighbors, the Cleveland Indians, as they have advanced to the American League Championship Series! Games 1 and 2 of the ALCS will take place at Progressive Field on Friday evening at 8:00 PM and Saturday at 4:00 PM. Fans traveling to Gateway this weekend should expect traffic delays getting into downtown Cleveland. For The Cleveland Monsters Championship Celebration at The Q on Friday and Saturday, fans are advised to carpool and arrive early, or take the RTA. Due to the dual events downtown, the Gateway East Garage will only be accepting passes on Friday and Saturday. Once the garage reaches capacity, fans may be directed to other lots near The Q. Thanks in advance for your patience as we all look forward this very exciting weekend for our city and Cleveland sports fans! Additional parking lots and garage information can be found HERE.
