Game Preview: Monsters at Chicago 3/6

In the second of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Chicago Wolves, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, on Saturday with full coverage, live from Triphahn Center Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL, underway at 4:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 AM “The Gambler”, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 4-3 road shootout win over the Chicago Wolves on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 3-3-1-0 on the season. With seven points, the Monsters currently rank fourth in the Central Division standings and 17th league-wide. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by RW Trey Fix-Wolansky (4-4-8), LW Nathan Gerbe (2-5-7), and RW Carson Meyer (2-3-5).

 

WOLVES PRE-SCOUT: Following a 3-4 home shootout loss to the Monsters on Friday, the Chicago Wolves enter tonight’s game at 8-1-0-1 on the season. With 17 points, the Wolves currently rank first in the Central Division standings and second league-wide. Chicago is currently led in scoring by C Seth Jarvis (7-4-11), C Rem Pitlick (8-2-10), and C Tommy Novak (2-8-10).
