Monsters Head to Belleville to Face Senators

In the first of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Belleville Senators, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, on Friday with full coverage, live from CAA Arena in Belleville, ON, underway at 7:00 pm on Alt 99.1, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-3 road loss to the Laval Rocket on Wednesday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 11-10-1-1 on the season. With 24 points, the Monsters currently rank seventh in the AHL’s North Division standings and 12th in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by LW Nathan Gerbe (5-14-19), D Adam Clendening (5-8-13) and C Ryan MacInnis (3-10-13).

 

SENATORS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 3-1 road win over the Hershey Bears on Saturday, the Belleville Senators enter tonight’s game at 13-8-1-0 on the season. With 27 points, the Senators currently rank fifth in the AHL’s North Division standings and ninth in the Eastern Conference. Belleville is currently led in scoring by RW Drake Batherson (9-18-27), C Josh Norris (9-9-18) and LW Vitaly Abramov (8-9-17).
