Game Preview: Monsters at Phantoms 10/22
Oct 22, 2022In the first of four meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Philadelphia Flyers, on Saturday with full coverage, live from PPL Center in Allentown, PA, underway at 7:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 “The Gambler”, AHLTV, and the Monsters Hockey Network.
MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 2-3 road loss to the Utica Comets on Friday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 2-1-0-0 on the season. With four standings points, the Monsters currently rank third in the North Division standings and tied for fifth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by RW Kirill Marchenko (4-1-5), RW Emil Bemstrom (2-2-4), RW Trey Fix-Wolansky (1-3-4), and C Brendan Gaunce (1-3-4).
PHANTOMS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 1-2 road loss to the Hershey Bears on Sunday, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms enter tonight’s game at 1-1-0-0 on the season. With two standings points, the Phantoms currently rank sixth in the Atlantic Division standings and tied for tenth in the Eastern Conference. Lehigh Valley is currently led in scoring by RW Zack MacEwen (1-2-3), LW Elliot Desroyers (2-0-2), and D Louie Belpedio (1-0-1).
