In the third of six meetings between the two teams this season, the Cleveland Monsters, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, drop the puck vs. the Toronto Marlies, AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs, on Friday with full coverage, live from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, underway at 7:00 pm on FOX Sports 1350 AM “The Gambler”, AHLTV and the Monsters Hockey Network.

 

MONSTERS PRE-SCOUT: Following a 6-5 road overtime win over the Toronto Marlies on Sunday, the Cleveland Monsters enter tonight’s game at 8-3-1-3 on the season. With a .667 points percentage, the Monsters currently rank second in the North Division standings and fourth in the Eastern Conference. Cleveland is currently led in scoring by D Jake Christiansen (4-10-14), C Brendan Gaunce (7-6-13), and LW Tyler Angle (1-12-13).

 

MARLIES PRE-SCOUT: Following a 5-6 home overtime loss to the Cleveland Monsters on Sunday, the Toronto Marlies enter tonight’s game at 8-4-1-1 on the season. With a .643 points percentage, the Marlies currently rank third in the North Division standings and fifth in the Eastern Conference. Toronto is currently led in scoring by C Brett Seney (8-5-13), RW Josh Ho-Sang (8-4-12), and D Joseph Duszak (0-12-12).

 

REGULAR-SEASON SERIES: Friday marks the third of six meetings between the Monsters and Marlies this season (1-0-0-1) and the first of three games between the two clubs at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse this year. The Monsters have an even overall goal differential (8/8) vs. Toronto this season.
